The safest way to take hazardous liquids from storage tanks is done from the top by using a siphon system. The procedure provides the safe evacuation as well as a dependable areation when the daily operation is finished or in case of emergency. The siphon system consists of submersion pipe inside the tank, siphon device and evacuation piping outside the tank. At the lowest point of the evacuation pipe a stop valve must be fitted.
The siphon device must be mounted on the very top of the evacuation piping system.
